I don’t know how we ever lived without this beast! My brother in law has an antique 3 gallon camp fire pot from the navy from world war 2. I was determined to have one of my own, but after months and months of scouring the internet, this is the closest thing. The sharp corners are a bummer compared to the navy pot, but you know what, THIS was available, so I’ll take it! Very impressed with the seller. I didn’t realize these were made to order. I sent a message just asking what the expected date is that I would receive it because we had a trip that weekend. The response was that my order wasn’t due for another two weeks. That’s when I realized it was made to order. To my delight and surprise, it arrived three days later in time for our camping trip. My only suggestion would be the handles. If they were to add wood to the handles so you don’t have to grab a pot holder every time, that would be amazing. And if the wood on the top handle could have a notch for hanging, that would be even more amazing. We sometimes like to hang it over the fire on our breeo thingy-bob. We’re just happy to have this period though. It’s SO nice to have plenty of water for hot chocolate and washing dishes for a family of 8, plus leftovers. It means we’ll have plenty for showering when we go to the lake too. I made a carrying case out of black outdoor fabric for storage so we don’t have to worry about soot getting all over our other gear. Thank you!!

Responded within 24 hours. The response was that my order wasn't due for another two weeks, but when I mentioned we were hoping to have it in time for a camping trip in five days, my order showed up 3 days later. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but either way, the response was courteous and within a reasonable timeframe.

I have two of these pots from I bought 11 years ago. they get used daily 5 months of the year, directly in the campfire. they are still in perfect condition. The new ones I bought are to outfit an expansion crew.

easy money, had to get a tax emption and it was easy. But then the item was delivered to the wrong address twice, luckily this is a small town and the person at the second wrong address knew me and gave me a call to come pick up my stuff at their house.
