This is an awesome helmet. It's a bit tall, as the eye holes don't line up with my eyes. I fixed the problem by putting a t-shirt inside before wearing it so the eye holes will sit level with my eyes.

One of the best most reasonable, best constructed Closed Helms I've seen as far as Off the Shelf. True, I whined abit about the interior finish, but that's not that bad - I already have the leather to finish it off myself. I wear it at Festivals over a coif and it's GREAT. You can't go wrong with this one.

i just wanted to say that i recived my norman knight helmut and i couldnt be more pleased.it came well oiled and is made out of good tough materials. its very authentic looking makeing it perfect for renactments and period costumes. the only down side is that this helmut did not come with any padding i have learned that i can add my own and that armorvenue does sell other helmuts with padding allready inserted in them i cant wait to buy some of those!!i just wana say that i plan to be a life long shopper at armorvenue and that i cant wait to make my next purchase HERE I COME hospitaller knights outfit!!!!!

Bought this as a display item for my son who is going into the Marine Corps as a warrior gift, he was really impressed with the appearance of the helmet, and was equally glad that he wouldn't have to wear something like this as a modern day warrior!

this is a great deal. it is best to use for costume,display or just playing around. one con is it comes very oily & lefy a stain on my counter. overall it is a great buy
