One of the best helmets out there

I purchased the helmet to wear while I do book signings and the helmet has a huge aesthetic appeal--people of all ages love the way it looks and they all want to try it on. I do believe it would be hard to do actual sword fighting in it as it is heavy, but it is a beautiful piece.

This is a pretty fantastic display piece. While it CAN be worn, I would recommended against it. This helmet is cool enough to wear briefly, and your friends will want to try it on, but it is uncomfortable, has a LOT of pointy parts (just begging to take out an eye), and the visor only goes halfway up. Use this as a display piece, and you won't be disappointed. For what you pay, it is MORE than worth it. I will definitely buy from Armor Venue in the future and will hold final quality judgement of this company until I have sampled more of their wares.

I intend to use the product for a halloween costume and it appears to be exactly what i want. it is actually alot more comfertable than i expected and is priced very well.

I use the helmet a lot, in fact I'm wearing it right now as i write this review! Its an awesome helmet because the way it looks, feels, and can be used by someone at any age. I know that kids would love it because Im a kid and I love it.

Purchased for brother's birthday. He loved it. Other brothers jealous. Very good quality.Have never ordered any kind of armor before. Was afraid it would be cheap, like tin. This helmet is solid.

The helmet is an overall great buy, you will not be wasting money. I wear the helmet whenever I feel like it, and am wearing it right now. It fits really well, moves with the neck,and isn't hard to breath in.

The Product is much more then i thought i would get 4 the price, truly immpressive, in size, construction and price, u really cant loose. My only complaint is that the visor will not close, always pops up, which made it impposible to see thru, drilled a small hole thru it to pop in a retaining bolt so it closes now. but still would buy it again. only thing i would change about my purchase is, I might have got the brass and engraved version, I suspect it is worth every extra penny .It Came covered in oil 4 rust protection, I will be sanding and clear coating it all soon like i did with the greek helmet, because i plan to use it and i do not want it to rust. I think the visor was bent in shipping, cause the box looked like it went thru a wood chipper. This helmet has started me down a path that ends in a full suit of armor. Also it came with a free arming cap. I would and have recommended this to others, and 3 ppl have made purchases after seeing it. I plan to be buried in it, probably a full knights armor from here will also be equipped for that event.I Plan to add a bit of padding on the inside and on the lower rim for a more comfortable fit.
