It's a pretty good watch for my kiddo. I wish it had different apps to choose from. Reminders for my kid instead of steps or temperature would be great. I'll send messages and they will just disappear. Also a vibrate option would be great for school.

I am having some issues with it, not sure if it's the service or need to figure out what is going on with the watch. I love the idea of this watch, we're just not getting all the features as of right now

Dont waste your money. It is not easy to set up and the sim card is activated but wont install in the watch. I have contacted customer service and been given all these options to call and not return it. Now I finally get an email saying call us and we can help but the return policy is only 7 days. Such a waste of $200.

We're sorry to hear that you've been having issues with your Angel Watch. Please have a look at our video on YouTube for setting up or give us a call and we'll help you.
The important thing to do is to check what you see when you swipe down on the screen. A sideways triangle means no service, an exclamation mark means it's not inserted correctly, and either of those will not let you proceed with registration.
If you see these, please ensure you're using the SIM provided, that it has been successfully activated, insert it chip face up, cut corner going in first and push deeply until it clicks into place. Then reboot the watch. At that point you should see 4G and bars of service and can proceed with registration using the QR Code app on the watch (tap RegCode).
Remember that this is a cellular device, and like any, if it's not set up correctly, it won't work. Please try the steps above and you'll have this working as you expected.

Horrible waste of money. Such a process to activate thw watch and the sim card. SIM card is activated but wont install in watch no matter what we do. Emailing back and forth for a week and now get an email saying "call us and we can help but unfortunately return period is only 7 days". I thought it would be perfect for my son who isnt quite ready for a phone but rides his bike to school so I wanted him to have something. Big mistake and loss of almost $200. Crappy company

This is only working sometimes. Messages don't come through all the time, message log dissapears. Notifications go off but cannot view anything. Will be returning if someone cannot help me work this out. This needs to be a reliable form of communication and its not.

We're sorry to hear you're having troubles with your Angel Watch.
The SIM card should have been included in your package. It wouldn't be inside the box but rather inside the package with the box and might easily have been discarded by mistake.
We'll be more than happy of course to send you a replacement SIM.
For the other issues, please ensure that you're using the latest version of the Angel Watch app and have accepted all permissions.
Using another SIM card can also be problematic as different networks have different settings. Our SIM's on the other hand are designed for a Plug & Play solution that works reliably and wouldn't give you the instability or (depending on your location) coverage issues that could be causing your issues.
If you'd like, please give us a call anytime from Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm MST and we'll perform some troubleshooting steps and get your Angel Watch working the way it should.

You forgot to include SIM card so I had to purchase another and wait for delivery. Now watch only works sometimes. Chat log dissappear, my notifications constantly going off but cannot view anything? Will be returning if someone cannot fix. I have wasted a lot of my time on this thing and very frustrated. Overall disappointed..

Set up was not smooth. Following the instructions led to several dead ends that required a call/email to tech support to resolve. To their credit, they were generally able to resolve it. Just a pain in the meantime. The app and watch themselves function, but the functions are a bit clunky. If I were starting over, I would go with a different product.

We're sorry that you had this experience. We've tried to make setup as easy as possible by providing a plug & play SIM card with setup instructions in the included User Guide as well as by having a YouTube channel with videos on how to get your Angel Watch set up correctly.
Angel Watch is generally one of the easier children's smartwatches to set up and one of the only ones to have a partnership with a phone company in the US requiring no settings to be adjusted at all; but for sure and as with any cellular device, some setup is required and if you felt we didn't provide enough clarity on this, please let us know where it was that we could improve.
We've also updated our Android app recently which might help and have an iOS updated app coming out shortly.
