Sorry to hear you didn’t like the quick-release charger.  The idea behind not making the magnets any stronger are that with increased force, there could be damaged caused to the watch or anything else if the watch is knocked off a surface on the one hand and also because it’s generally not a good idea to have strong magnets so close to a child’s wrist for a long time.  It’s for safety on both counts.. 

Are you finding that it is otherwise working properly?  If so, we’d really appreciate it if you could consider leaving a fairer rating! :)

Waste of money. Can’t login to the app or website periodically to track the watch. Service is horrible and I live in a very populated area. The fact that it only comes with a 7 day return policy is a clue right there that this watch is total junk. If you care about your kids don’t buy this watch.

We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve been having login/connection issues.  For sure if you can’t do either of those, you wouldn’t be able to use the watch properly.

First off, to clarify, you can only find the watch using the Angel Watch app- not the website.  Your account on the website is your store account only.

The loss of stars is for a non user friendly manual & the app that’s required. Otherwise so far so good but it’s still new so I’m skeptical.

The battery life is not long enough...even without use. In order to sidestep this issue, I had put it in shutdown mode for 8 hours (the length of his school hours), so that the watch would be usable AFTER school, when we need it most. The instruction booklet is not very informative. We had to watch youtube videos, and figure so much of the programming ourselves, and we still haven't worked on some of the programs yet...such as video calls and geofencing. I would say that probably the biggest negative issue is the duration of the battery life. The watch, just sitting there, inactive, used up nearly 80% of the battery life, leaving not enough battery life for the most important time (after school) when we would need to gps him and have the phone conversations to make sure we knew he got to his after-school destination safely. You will have to use your phone app to schedule the shutdown. It was difficult for us, because it kept "failing". Other than that, it seems good.

Hi Denise,

The best way to extend your Angel Watch's battery life is to set the Location Update Schedule to be set to Sleep Mode (Manually Obtain Position).  This will prevent the watch from seeking it's location unnecessarily frequently and vastly improve battery life.
