Worst product I could have bought for my son.
After playing in the splash pad for a few minutes and some water dropping (like a light rain) it stoped working, screen does not turn on anymore and the camera has water.
I got in touch and they offer to refurbish it or sell a new one at a discount. But the watch does not have 1 month and has not been submerged in water, shower, nor swimming.
Look what their FAQ say about waterproof:
Angel Watch is rated IP67 which means it is technically protected from dust and capable of withstanding water immersion between up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, we do not recommend submerging the device or wearing the it while taking a shower, diving and swimming.
Don't trust it as it is not water resistant at all
Run away from it and spend you money on something that is made for a kid to play with it.

We really want this to work with out with our current network provider, not have to subscribe to yet another service.

Hi Todd,
We do mention on our site that our devices work using our network partner and even have you choose a network option before placing your order to avoid exactly these issues.
But if you really are keen to use AT&T directly, you can. The workaround is to first activate a new AT&T SIM card in another phone before using it in your Angel Watch.
This is not something we recommend by default due to the added complication but this is possible and is a limitation from AT&T, not from us; but it is possible.
After you’ve confirmed that the new AT&T SIM is activated in your phone, test it in your personal phone and see that you can make calls and browse the internet (with your wifi disabled).
If you are unable to, contact AT&T and have them get your new SIM working in your phone perfectly first. This is required before it will work with anything else. They will likely ask you for your phone’s IMEI number and update on their end.
After you have your new SIM working in your personal phone, and you can browse the internet and call, you will be able to switch the SIM card over and put it into your Angel Watch. Then just go to SETTINGS-REBOOT on your Angel Watch and restart your watch. You’ll also want to go to SETTINGS-MOBILE NETWORKS-APN and ensure you have NXTGENPHONE selected.
After that, you can put your old phone SIM back into your personal phone. If you’re facing any issues after you make the switch back, it’s the same process: just call AT&T and have them update the IMEI number back to your original SIM again.
It’s best to avoid talking about Angel Watch altogether with AT&T as their default line is that nothing that isn’t from AT&T is compatible, but it is, you just need to follow those steps above and it will work. Just mention that you’re trying to activate the new SIM in your iPhone/Android- nothing more.
That will get things working but I hope that you can see now why we try to avoid presenting compatibility with AT&T directly. It’s just a bit of a pain, unlike our SIM’s with Red Pocket that are just Plug & Play..

Overall, the watch is awesome. However, the battery life sucks. I'll have to disable all the beneficial health monitoring stuff in order to get it to last more than 24 hours.

The instructions are terrible. There was no service with the watch the first time we were away from wifi and the FAQ page that said to disable wifi and choose a certain APN didn’t even have the APN’s that we were seeing on the watch. So I just had to go through each APN to see if it worked. Also he is CONSTANTLY bombarded with spam texts. Which is sooooooo inappropriate for kids. There’s no way that I can find to turn that off. You can only turn off spam calls. So I’m NOT happy about that. But for now it’s doing ok.
