You can never have to many bottles of this on hand. It is so convent and easy to use when the need arises . Not only do I use it on the horses for scraps and abrasions but I use it on the barn cats when they get a cut .

My horse had a deep shoulder wound that was infected and a friend suggested Vetericyn to help prevent scarring. In a matter of days the wound improved tremendously and after a a few weeks, the hair started growing back and I can tell there wont be a scar! I am very satisfied with this product and will now use it on my cat and dog if needed.

This is the only wound care I use now it is easy and doesn't sting so the horses don't mind it at all. Just don't let it freeze.

This stuff works great on the cuts and scrapes that the kids get into. Easy to apply and works fast to clean and disinfect wounds. Plus factor is that it works without having to clean the wound first. Bonus when your baby is ouchy and not about to let you touch the booboo.

I started using Vetericyn a few years ago, and it works. I bought Emc2 to compare with it, and it is really oily, but works too. That being said, I find myself grabbing for the Vetericyn 90% of the time. I prefer the gel, because it stays on longer, and stays up in the hoof when treating thrush. Works on any animal at the barn. Even me. Valley Vet always has the best price and customer service!! Great folks to deal with, always there to help you!!!!

This product is so great to have on hand for those "just in case" needs. It works beautifully...

I used this on my Malamute that broke out in very bad hot spots this summer. I clipped her fur to allow for air circulation and used this 3x a day. I would come home from work and be amazed at how much better her hot spots looked after 1 application in the morning. The redness began going away and the skin all around started to look healthier and less aggravated. I like the fact that its a spray. Its not like a gel or cream that might get gunky. The hotspots remained clean. HIGHLY recommend this product if you have any type of animal. Keep it on hand! Although it is a bit expensive, it sure beats the heck out of many trips to the vet.

I have been using Vetericyn since seeing the first commercial on RFD TV. It is all they crack it up to be! Love it for all those little cuts and otherwise mysterious wounds that horses (and sometimes dogs) get while roaming our little acreage.

4horsemom - 05/25/2014
This is the best stuff ever and worth the money. Heals up most surface wounds with no scarring.

This product was recommended by our groomer and has become our med of choice for all minor irritations/cuts/scrapes. With three dogs there is always something that needs treated. Our Irish Water Spaniel has allergies that result in her chewing at the hair between paw pads till it's red. Vetericyn soothes and stops her from damaging herself. She quickly stops the chewing after spraying. A few follow-up treatments and the redness is gone; until the next flare up. Hot spots, belly rash, genital redness all respond to this product. It is completely non-irritating, no sting, they can lick after application with no problem and is safe around mucosa.

I believed the commercials & had wanted to try some, just had never thought to buy any while at the supply store. Finally did, & finally, unfortunately, had reason to use it this past weekend. Boo-boos healing quickly, like after 2 applications!!!!
Why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
