I saw places both less expensive and more expensive--this wins hands-down. This is a one-time stencil for me (at this point, no longer sure of that), so I didn't need the super heavy duty backing. I wanted a choice of fonts, I wanted ease in design & I wanted to know the gist of what my end product would look like. This place went way beyond that. After I ordered, I was kept posted about timelines & where it was in production. Then this follow-up. Custom Stencil is professional, reasonable, courteous and accurate. I seldom get 2 out of the 4 anymore, so I'm impressed.

Although I had to modify the stencil, the cutting was near perfect. I would suggest that the "proofs" that are sent out (as PDF doc) incorporate metric or imperial grid measurements. Doing so would allow clients to be able to respond with more confidence. I informed my contact that the stencil would be wrapped around a bike tube, the circumference of which was 4.5 inches. The second stencil purchased arrived, cut into a six inch sheet of plastic. I had to trim 1 5/16ths inch off north & south edges to have the needed dimensions.

Marlena is very helpful. Company should send Proofs with grid markings that reveal measurements. Had this been in practice, I would possibly have saved $40.; I didn't realize my request that the total of stencil needing to be under 4.5 inches hadn't been cut that way. Without grid marking of proofs, errors slipped through.

I found it difficult to find a company that could print my total stencil.. By that I mean to put the entire text on one backing. These guys did a great job.

The stencil was well made and came quickly. I gave it four stars only because I hoped to have a thicker 'frame' around the stencil, so spray chalk paint wouldn't bleed across, and I submitted a stencil file with a thicker frame included. However, it was produced that way. Next time I will specify more clearly. Thank you!
