I ordered a pair of stands with the black caps on the corners. Upon opening the box it was immediately apparent that that the finish on the post caps was not right. To some degree each of them appeared to have check marks all throughout the black chrome finish making them look used or scratched up. I contacted the company immediately with questions and pictures. They ultimately responded that this is the normal appearance of the black finish. It seems odd that they would even continue to offer this finish option if that was the only level of quality and appearance they can offer. They did not offer any discount or concession for the poor finish or the poor buying experience. Ultimately I am disappointed with my purchase and would not recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase amp stands. There certainly must be better quality options available.
