My wife is very happy with this machine. Needless to say, when mama is happy, everyone is happy. I give it 5 stars all around the ordering was very easy and shipping was extremely fast.

I bought this sewing machine after taking my $2000.00 Pfaff sewing machine to get repaired AGAIN. I have been sewing since I was about 5 and I first learned to sew on an old knee pedal black and gold decorated Singer that was probably from the 1920's. I then moved up to a Singer Golden Touch and Sew that was from the early 1970's. That was a touchy machine, but I put thousands of hours of sewing into it and when it worked it worked well. I still own it and still love/hate it.This new Singer has not disappointed me at all. So simple to thread. I thought I was doing something wrong because there were not all sorts of hooks and bars to try to get the thread through or behind. New technology is amazing. I love the drop in bobbin. The tension works great and stays adjusted well. The straight stitch is smooth and neater than the one on the Pfaff I mentioned earlier. The decorative stitches are smooth and easy to set up and use.

This machine has such a large work base. Love that it has storage compartment built in. The touch reverse button is wonderful and it is self threading. The light is much brighter than my old Singer machine. I've already recommend this machine to my friends and family.

This is a wonderful machine. I have a Singer machine that is about 50 years old. It does not sew like this one. I can do so many more projects with this machine than I could with my old machine. I was about to get tired of seeing until I got this machine. I love it and have a renewed interest in seeing.

I love sewing on this machine .. but when I use the scissor it throws a half hitch of thread around the take up lever now I started hearing a click when the pressure foot went down .. now the tension isn't engaging when the pressure foot goes down ... just seems like the little problems are stacking up and for what it cost it should not have little problems ... think I'll get a brother
why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
