Works well. I've had no problems with it. I like that I can use it for so many things. The transfering of computer designs from other soft ware is cumberson. You really have to watch how much memory you are using. Its a great machine if you are just starting out embroidering and quilting.

First, let me say that I have experience using longarm machines. I think that makes a difference when considering the usefull of a review. I have owned a mid-arm and tested many of the upper end long arm machines at quilt shows. From my experience the LIzzie has superior control and response comparable with the A-! for example. There was no wobbling back and forth. I could easily retrace my stitch line when doing feathers. Smooth curves were easily achieved as well as free-hand straight lines. On similar mid-arm competitor models I did not feel that this was the case--I had to fight for control to retrace sewing lines and to acheive beautiful feathers that I was able to easily achieve on the Lizzie.

I am crazy about this machine! I just finished 20 yards of bias in nothing flat! It does an amazing job! I have all the tips and wish I could get a 1/8 and 1/4 in. tip too!

This is a wonderful, easy to use machine. I bought the Hello Kitty version for my 8 yr old daughter for Christmas. She is learning the basics on it, and loves it. It sews like my larger machine, with the exception of thick denim...which will stop it in it's tracks. I recommend it for anyone, even an adult light for sewing projects...small, so it stores easily.

This is absolutely the finest machine on the market. I love it. It is so easy to use. I had another embroidery/sewing machine and it sat in the corner and collected dust due to the difficulty in centering etc. This machine does it all for you. There are not enough adjectives to describe it.

This is such an amazing foot! Easy to use, practical, and gives a perfect finish every time! This is a low shank foot, and I have a high shank Juki machine, so I bought the Kenmore high to low shank adapter. They work perfect together!

Love love love this piece! This little adapter is the most practical thing I have bought. I had another sewing machine that had a low shank snap on piece, and then with that all the snap on feet. I bought this little adapter taking a chance because this description says it only works with Kenmore, but it works with my Juki TL-98Q also! If you have multiple sewing machines with different shanks, this is a must buy!

This machine is amazing! I understand it is a quilting machine, but it works good on fashion garments as well! I've never had to use a zig-zag stitch in my clothing, but for potential buyers, please know this is a straight stitch only machine. The only thing I was disappointed in, is that the needle doesn't move left to right, so some of the feet I have bought for it (pretty much just the Stitch-in-the-Ditch foot) do not work as they should. I don't know if it's the foot, or the machine, all I know is that they don't work together. Other than that though, this machine is absolutely fabulous!!!

I've had the Emerald 183 for 2 years now and I truly do enjoy this sewing machine. It has enough embellishing capability to be more than a basic machine but not so much I need a college degree to learn how to use it. The buttonholes this machine can do are great for someone like me who makes all their own clothes. I think anyone would love this sewing machine for it's easy learning curve and in case it's an issue for some this machine is very quiet.

I love this machine. I am a beginner at sewing but this one caught my eye. I was afraid when I got it home it would be too much machine for me, but I picked it up quick. The manual that comes with it is fantastic and very easy to use. I went through the book and tried everything once before I got my free class and did great!I really think for a beginner this machine is the one. I was afraid of the embroidery part, but it was easy! I love my machine.

I purchased this machine in December 2010 and I love it. I am new to machine quilting as I have always hand quilted but for the first experience of machine quilting I am very happy.

I have the 4205 series and love it. It is the easiest sewing machine I have ever used. I am not a good sewer, its been years. I always had my mother sew for me and when she passed away she left me her singer sewing machine I don't know if it was a joke but it was a little to fancy for me to use. Your Singer Inspiration is just a wonderful machine.
