I have sewed and used various sewing machines over the years but never dealed with one that you just can't rely on not to eat the material, will sew well for a while and then eat the material on just a straight stitch.

Had this machine for two days and had some issues that made me think about sending it back. Some reviews said not to use cheep thread I did had no issues with it breaking however the machine kept telling me my thread broke finally it would stitch a few stitches the tell me my thread broke bit it had not. I was getting irritated and about ready to send back when I decided to take the cover off to see how it was threading I discovered it was sitting on top of the tension disk instead of going thru a nice tug on the sting and it popped right in place and haven't had any further issues love this machine and software

I like this machine, but, like any complex machine there is a learning curve. I have read reviews and some had issues that are user errors. I had the hoop not recognized problem, but finally I realized that when you turn the machine on, don't put hoop on until it initializes. If you used the large hoop, then turn it off and turn it back on with the small hoop, you get an error. The machine tells the software what hoop it has, not the other way around, that is why you turn on the machine, place your hoop, then run the software. I have learned how important quality thread, thread tension, sharp needles and proper stabilizer are. Now I have been able to "set it, and forget it" and it just embroiders away until it finishes. GOOD embroidery thread is a must!!. Also get really good embroidery needles. I am using medium weight tear away stabilizer that I bought at a place that sells embroidery supplies. Not all stabilizers are the same - quality counts. The software is crude, but for the price, it cannot be beat. I recommend it.

I love this machine! I have had it since march 2013 and have been very happy with it. i had a problem with it about two weeks but sewing machines plus had me ship it back to them and as of right now they have fixed it. i am hoping that it will stay that way but i am still crazy about this machine.
why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
