I would recommend this to anyone as a great buy and an excellent all around machine. I still own my Singer from 1975 home ec class but I always use this machine. Super easy to change stitches, thread, button hole maker....it's just superb. I've used it to free stitch for art projects as well. The feed dogs drop easily and are great for free quilting work. Love it.

I bought this machine about a year ago from Sewing Machines Plus and have not regreted it. It has all the power of a full sized Singer, but is 3/4 the size, making it easier to store and transport. The display is easy to understand and use. On top of that, the number and quality of stitch functions is superb. I've had nothing but great results with the button function and the embroidery function, and the decorative stitches have come in handy for adding adorable borders on recieving blankets. Further, I've used this maching for sewing everything from satin to a thick fleece, wools, and faux leather, and the results are always the same: quality stitches that hold up. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to invest in a great Singer sewing machine.
