I love the machine, but was very disappointed with your custom service. I paid for the express shipping but the machine did not arrive for one week. I called and spoke with a girl and she was supposed to have a supervisor call me back...but they never did. Will not recommend this company.

Just rec'd my Juki TL2010Q on 2/15/19, and I'm just lovin it! I had my eye on this model for some time now, and so glad to finally have it! I am a quilter, so I was looking for a heavy duty machine that would sew great stitches, and could sew over those thick intersections while piecing my quilt tops. This Juki does at great job! I also look forward to making leather bags. This is my first machine with the knee lift. I was not sure if I would like the "heel cutter" on the pedal, so I ordered a "wedge" to put on the underneath side of the pedal to prevent from accidentally cutting my thread...but I am loving this feature, so I canceled that item from my order. I thought the automatic threader would be a challenge from reading other reviews, but it only took me three tries, and it worked! My advice would be a couple of things. Use your needle up/down button to place your needle in the up position. After threading your machine, hold the thread with your left hand, while being sure you push the white needle threader "all the way down". Take your thread with your left hand, while holding the white lever, and guide the tread into the small "hook", then bringing your thread over towards the right side of your machine. If the thread is not guided into the hook, it won't work! I hope this makes sense. I don't mind oiling this machine at all. It's nice to know I can maintain/clean my own sewing machine, and not have to pay someone else to do that for me. I just keep my bottle of oil next to my machine as a reminder to oil her every day before sewing. Since you have to oil the bobbin case hook, I also remove any dust/lint at the same time. I know I will enjoy the Juki TL2010Q for years to come. The staff at SMP are all terrific! Jennifer is so sweet, and was so helpful with all my questions while I was placing my order.

I've been using a Brother machine for 16 years (one that probably cost less than $200) and really wanted a machine that could take me to the next level in quality of work. I was going back and forth between a Bernina or Juki. The Bernina is digital, has a ton of stitch patterns, and a lot of other bells and whistles. I was googly-eyed for all the possibilities that a Bernina could do. But I came back down to Earth and realized that my needs do not exceed straight stitching and superb quality. I got that in spades with the Juki TL-2010Q! There was NO LEARNING CURVE!! I was up and running the same day piecing my new quilt creation. It's sturdy and efficient and I lovvve the multiple thread cutting options, the knee lever for the sewing foot, and the automatic needle down feature! CON: There is only one and you will read about it in other reviews. The automatic threader has much to be desired! It's just not very functional. When I read other's reviews I thought 'maybe it's just them- I'll be different!!' WRONG!! Unless myself and all the other reviewers have missed something truly blatant, then you should be absolutely fine. This is a total "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" moment. It's a great machine that I'm so overjoyed to have in my possession that I'm always looking forward to the next time I use it. My solution is that I just bought some cheap needle threaders to make that problem go away. Here's to hoping that that will be the ticket!

Very easy to purchase and maneuver the site! I even got a call soon after I made the order to make sure that I researched my product, that I understood the machine I was ordering and told when it was going out for delivery. Very pleased with the attention to the customer.

I'm a beginning quilter. Machine is easy to use and instructions are easy to understand. It's a real work horse!. Machine is built solid and runs quietly.

This review is just as much about SMP.com as it is about my new Juki. Aaron was terrific! Very surprised when he called the day after I placed an order for a different machine. Thank you Aaron for going above and beyond, and I'm so glad I took you up on your offer. Now I know why so many "love their Juki".
