Prices for Janome's parts seem to be high and is being driven by Janome. I seriously doubt that replacement parts really cost a lot to manufacture. This is not SewingMacinesPlus' fault, but if enough vendors would push back, maybe Janome would make their products more affordable for the general public.

This really makes a difference in the bobbin tension when doing free motion or embroidery work on the 11000. My dealer recommend this when I was concerned about the quality of the work on machine embroidery.
