We really don't know how to rate this part. We haven't had a chance to use because we haven't been able to use to Longer that we bought it for. This is because there was a fault with the machine. We had to have a local technician spend 10 hours fixing a manufacturing defect. We hope it has now been fixed and can see how this part actually does work. We have had to spend an additional $200 to pay this technician to hopefully fix a problem with the machine that was present when we received it. Would sewing machine plus like to reimburse us in some way for this added expense? We believe that we deserve it. Perhaps someone can contact us to discuss this. However, we will be surprised if that happens.

Your personnel were helpful. It took forever to get the machine. And then to have this manufacturing defect prevent us from using the machine until now has been very disappointing and is the reason for the lower ratings above. To date, we don't know how to rate your products. If you want to know what the defect was ask Chris and Scott, your technicians that assisted our the technician that we hired. Our technician said that the problem was that a "magnet" was not attached in the right place and was causing a timing problem and preventing the correct operation of the machine. As a result, we strongly believe that Sewing Machines Plus (SMP) should reimburse us for the additional $200 we have spend to locate and hopefully fix this manufacturing defect. I would like to discuss this with someone at SMP. Call me at 423-718-4035. George Leigh

The spoon part is nice and smooth, so it shouldn't get caught on seams or small embellishments while I'm quilting.
