Not as I thought thread and needle break a lot. I love this Brand Brother not so pleased with this purchase. Probably if I continue to work with the machine maybe I’ll feel differently.

Strong, fast, stable, not too noisy, incredible stitch quality. Handled a 12-layer seam without blinking - far better than my $2800 machine. 2 years later I love it even more. Awesome shipping and delivery from SewingMachinesPlus - I called and spoke with a very knowledgeable and helpful consultant when I was trying to decide between different machines. I would absolutely purchase from them again!

A sewing machine with a wide throat to put on my Grace Cutie quilting frame. It only has straight stitch and that is all you need for Free Motion quilting.

I have 4 sewing machines, two which were purchased in the past 8 months from SMP. I researched machines for weeks and finally decided upon this Brother. After making 20 quilts I decided I wanted something more substantial than my cs6000i. I absolutely love my new PQ-1500SL. It sews so effortlessly and I love it for FMQ! So, everyone is different about what they like and want the machine to do. This machine is a beauty and serves my purpose well. SMP has been awesome throughout the process and when I had some questions, the customer service was great! A new serger is on my list for the near future and this is where I'll buy it when the time comes.

My 2nd sewing machine purchase. The first machine was delayed in shipping, but SMP took care of my concerns! That's why I came back. Loving my new Brother PQ1500SL.....what a machine and arrived in 2 days! Super experience for me and I'll be back when it's time for my new serger. Thanks!

I am a quilter and bag make. This machine sews like butter thru all fabrics and I just love the choice I made for may shop. I was a little skeptical buying a Brother, because I never owned one before, but for the price, this is a work horse for any sewing room.

If you are looking for a machine that goes through layers of fabric like butter and quilts like a dream, this is the machine for you. I would buy it again and again. It's heavy duty performance and ease of use makes it worth its weight in gold. The metal chassis and side door that opens for easy maintenance and cleaning make this the one you want to have. t truly is a "powerhouse" as Bernadette says and the price just can't be beat for the quality of this machine. For piecing and free motion, it will be the best investment you ever made.
