I'm new to sewing and this machine is great! It's not overwhelming to use, it comes with instructions, and it's really sturdy. I originally bought a singer m3400 which felt much more flimsy and plastic-like??? I like this machine much more. I recommend this for any other beginners.

I paid for expedited shipping .. 1-5 days. My order shipped in two shipments which took 12 & 13 days to arrive. Sad. The site is easy to maneuver and I think the pricing is reasonable. I will be returning for future purchases.

I bought this machine to make masks at the beginning of pandemic. It was okay but started to have an issue with the tension changing without me even touching the tensioning dials. I have had nothing but issues with this machine and I followed all of the advice to fix it but it still is the worst. If it did not have this issue it would be the perfect beginners machine.
