Always liked Sewing Machine Plus. Ut should have done more research on this machine because I traded it in.

The reverse lever was nonfunctional and I have returned the machine for replacement. Hopefully this replacement will be sent in a timely manner.
To date, my experience has been disappointing, although I feel like this company did not intentionally ship a defective item. I have finally received all of the items in the special package. I have not received the extension table so I cannot provide evaluation of this item.

This product so far has been great. All I would say is that FedEx makes it very difficult when it's a sign for delivery. They need to learn how to ring a door bell instead of just leave a sticker on the door.

I’m a mechanical sewing machine gal and the Jazz II is perfect for me! I love it!
Nedra was great! She answered all of my questions and made it easy for me to choose my replacement sewing machine!

I bought my machine Feb. of 2019. I use a machine everyday so much so I log the hours on the machine for maintenance. It is now June of 2023 and she still performs like a new machine. It is a no frill machine and a hard working machine. Quiet compared to others. Very happy with this purchase.

I use the baby lock jazz2 at the senior center . I love the machine I had to save money up to purchase one. I have mine set up though yet to try it.
First time buying

As mentioned the throat plate is large and the lighting is nice and bright. It takes a bit of practice to learn the threading and to wind the bobbin. I do have to stand up to thread every time. I absolutely don’t like how much it vibrates and rattles at medium to higher speeds. The bobbin also rattles a lot and the bobbin cover is awkward to remove and put back on. I’ve gotten used to the threader and am now successful most times. The selection of stitches is great but the stitch length only goes up to 4 so there is no basting stitch. I wish it had a speed control. It doesn’t stop sewing when I take foot off pedal as it continues a stitch. The free motion quilting is nice on this machine especially with all the space. It is a long and heavy machine although and it looks plasticity. The included cover smells really bad so I had to air it outside a few days.I purchased this 11 months ago and although I’ve gotten used to some things I don’ t think I would have purchased the Jazz 2 if I had known these things so I’m considering a juki instead. The price is on this model is comparable to other retailer but the included extras from SMP make this model a good deal if you can get used to the negatives.

The machine came with a few troubles. I can’t get the presser foot to raise high enough to actually quilt my quilts. There’s always been a problem with the stitches maintaining their size integrity. Mine is in the shop getting this fixed. I have high hopes that I’ll love it once it is fixed. My real critique is the price. I thought “oh my heavens! This is such a bargain I can’t pass it up!” It was on “sale” for $800. In the past 2 years I’ve discovered that this is a case of mark up to mark down. I’ve never seen this machine over $800. It’s always on “sale”. What really has my goat is that you can buy the Allegra for $1200. The next step up machine for $100 less than this one is purported to be at regular price. The $1300 price tag on this one is baiting customers.

Very happy I selected this model. Great for all around use, sewing and quilting. My only promise so far has been using the needle threader. Only have gotten it to work one time.
Great descriptions on all sewing machine I looked at. I had questions and chatted with Barbara who was great

This is to replace my 'starter' quilt machine from Brother--I am so excited by the difference in capacity , speed and overall ease-of-use with this machine.
The only small disappointment was having to wait for the extension table. Other than that, my experience with your company has been great. I was so glad I found your site when I started looking to upgrade to a bigger, more robust quilting machine. The bonus bundle is great!, I particularly liked that the walking foot was included with it. The sewing machine mat is great too. I had no idea it would make such a positive difference.
Why Trust Verified Reviews?
Verified Reviews are real, authentic reviews collected from actual paying customers, using Shopper Approved's Verified Review Platform. When reviews are Verified by Shopper Approved, you know that you can trust them to make better buying decisions.
Unverified Reviews on the other hand, are reviews collected by Open Review platforms that allow anyone to leave a review, without any validation or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, most reviews you read online are Unverified Reviews, and can't be trusted.
As a consumer, here's how you can tell the difference:
Verified Reviews from Verified Review Platforms like Shopper Approved, have much higher review counts and higher overall Star ratings, because they attempt to collect reviews from every single paying customer.
Unverified Reviews from Open Review Platforms, tend to have much lower review counts and more negative Star ratings, because people with bad experiences are primarily those who leave reviews. This often creates a misleading, inaccurate portrayal of a companies true reputation.
So, when searching for Verified Reviews, look for the name you know you can trust. Shopper Approved.
