I have a Technivorm which is almost 5 years old, I saw the sale and purchased another one. It makes the best coffee on the planet, and we can have another one in a different part of the house. This by far is the only appliance I own that I could not live without. It arrived very fast and toastmasters is the best. Do not ever hesitate to purchase a Technivorm, I now have an heir and a spare!!!

Technivorm says that this coffee maker works at high altitudes but I have read some that said it doesn't. The coffee brewed very hot and with putting some boiling water in the thermal carafe, the coffee stayed hot for hours.
