I received the Behmor 1600+ from Roastmasters, and I am very happy with this roaster so far. I did a lot of research on this roaster before I bought it, even calling and speaking to someone at Roastmasters to get their input into my next roaster purchase. My research showed that Roastmasters had the most to offer with the roaster - 8 free lbs of coffee with the roaster purchase, free shipping, and a $10 coupon to use later on at Roastmasters.com. Overall, a great deal, great shipping and packaging, and great customer service. I'm a Roastmasters customer for good now!

The Behmor 1600 plus home roaster is an excellent roaster and is fun to use. If you just use the default settings for roasting, it is very easy to use. I am just a beginner, so the default settings works fine for me. However, for an experienced roaster who wants to customize the roasting and work from the manual programs, I find the directions in the manual confusing. It would be very helpful to owners if Behmor included a video disc with its roaster to show buyers how to roast in default and manual settings, or include a website link with the purchase, where such video can be found.

Roastmasters including 8 one-pound bags of different green coffees with the purchase of the Behmor 1600 plus makes the purchase a fantastic buy. The price of $369 is pretty much the same price that all dealers are selling the roaster, so adding the green coffees at no additional charge is really nice. It gave me a variety of coffees to study about and do different roast levels over the holidays, which was a lot of fun. Thanks for including the green coffees in the purchase.

So much better than hanging out on the porch with a hot air popper! I'm new to roasting and still learning, but the only thing that might be improved is the smoke output. I had to set it up in my basement in front of a window with a fan to pull smoke out. Otherwise, the house smells like burnt toast for days.
