I was actually looking for a winter hat with a broad brim to protect my eyes from very bright sunlight when the sun's lower in the sky. Because this is also a waxed rain hat I decided to get it so that it can have a dual purpose. I've worn it twice so far and it has worked well in both bright sunshine and on a rainy, windy day. It is comfortable to wear and stayed firmly put in the wind. I would imagine that it will become a firm favourite and I say that as someone who isn't a 'hat person.'

Great hat! I normally don’t wear hats but so glad I ordered this one. It fits really well, love that it is adjustable and it’s very light ( which helps avoid hat hair!) The hat is very well made and excellent quality. Very happy with my purchase and now thinking of getting another for Winter.
