Shower on main floor dripped replaced shower head that made it worse but we still enjoyed our trip.

While we had a great time with our family and another family we will not be returning to this property ever again. It was cheaply maintained and felt very dirty - not from not being cleaned - the items in the home were trashed or super cheap. The furniture - chairs, sofas, tables and outdoor furniture were nasty and looked trashed and gross. I didn't want to lean back on the sofa it was so gross. Also for a house that sleeps so many people a $15 blender just doesn't seem fitting. How about a $60 ninja that actually works?? The refrigerator was not working when we arrived which isn't cool when you just walked in with $400 worth of groceries. Literary it was leaking water on the floor. Carpet in upstairs bedrooms was thrashed with strings pulled up and stains. Not sure what the reason in July is for the $200 pool heater and the $600 cleaning fee seems to be ridiculous. Also I do not feel Prickett properties really advertised that this is a duplex house and that another huge family is sharing this house. So when you sit outside on the porch in the morning with coffee or in the evening be prepared to vacation with another strange family and their kids because there is no - I repeat no - separation outside. Sorely disappointed in what we got for the money especially because on either side of us was really nice houses with good furniture - we could see inside. Never again on this one. I gave two stars for the each floor being really insulated to noise and also the beach area felt roomy and not like a condo setting with tons of people. The inside - yuck.

The property itself was fine. What I didn’t care for was 1) the door of the lazy Susan cabinet was hanging on with only the lower hinge - poor first impression and for the cost, that should have been fixed. We didn’t use anything from that cabinet so it didn’t hinder us. 2) you need to provide instructions on how to use the service you have for the TV’s. Never have I rented a place where you couldn’t even get local stations. You could get to a tv channel guide but when you selected a station, it would act like it was searching but never found it. If one of our guest hadn’t had a Netflix account, the kids would not have been able to watch anything.

Location was excellent. Nice and spacious. Wi-Fi was hit and miss and even though there were TVs in every room most didn’t work. Place was clean upon arrival.
