The chain is described as "Stainless Steel Rhodium Plated"; which is magnetic. Only austenitic stainless steel are non-magnetic. I hope this helps clarify that this is not false advertising. We stand behind the products we sell and do offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Love the medallion ! The chain IS NOT stainless steel. An out right false advertisement. Although it maybe coated it is definitely not 100%. Stainless is not magnetic !
