Purchased the smaller medal for my rosary. There are so many comments about the clarity of the lines and ease of reading the lettering. That is certainly true. In addition, the advertisement copy about this piece was accurate. I chose this particular medal from Patron Saint Medals over other companies because the figure of St. Benedict is particularly good - compelling really - the slightly side-position his body gives it a sense of movement, even in the smaller medal! And I liked his beard better than in many of the other beautiful St. Benedict medals I looked at while shopping. Really a stunning piece of art, and a powerful tool supporting prayer in these times of ours.

Beautifully crafted medal of my favorite Saint with the added benefit of the armed forces service of your choice on the reverse side. Arrived less than a week after the order. Can’t wait to deliver to a young Navy sailor when he returns from boot camp. This will be the fifth St. Michael medal I’ve presented. All were greatly appreciated. I purchased this medal for my mother. Her name is Bertilla. This was a difficult medal to find. It is the only Saint Maria Bertilla medal that I have ever found. I was so happy with my purchase! My mother was so happy when she received it. I purchased the larger sized medal. The medal itself is beautiful. It was a great purchase.
