After seeding my lawn in april, no grass ever grew, not one blade & I watered twice daily for six weeks.

It's extremely rare to have 100% germination failure, especially since that mix was tested by an independent seed lab and had a germination rate in the mid 90% range. Complete germination failure usually happens when temperatures are too cold (unlikely in your situation) or a pre-emergent herbicide was used around the same time. These are common in "weed-n-feed" type fertilizers that many folks unknowingly use. Please contact us at [email protected] and we'll figure out a game plan.

I've enjoyed this mix, my first attempt at wild flowers. Although it is not a vast sea of flowers, it does stay very green and there are many varieties of beautiful flowers. You can stand in one spot and see flowers all around, here and there. I'm happy.

Comes well packaged & on time, I have started seeding clover last spring but am waiting now with my new order to seed again in the fall. Too hot now.

I bought this clover to overseed into some tall fescue grass. I was dreaming of a beautiful lawn alternative. By lawn I mean it’s more like a small patch. After overseeding it into my sad-looking fescue I watered it every evening and sometimes in the early morning when it started to get really hot. Think like the mid-to-upper 90’s. Much to my delight, it came up rather quickly and formed a beautiful, soft, bright green carpet. I waited until it was about 4-5inches tall to mow it. The patch I mowed under my grape vine died within a few days. That was really disappointing. But things went really downhill when it started to get pretty hot. I live in the desert southwest so during the summer (even in mid-spring) temperatures really start heating up here. Once that heat came, my soft, beautiful carpet of lovely clover died within a week. Even the ones that were in mostly shade under an ash tree. Just gone. I died inside. All those gallons of water for nothing. It was gorgeous while it lasted. So I’m thinking that perhaps this beautiful clover is best for fall/winter planting here in the desert. Or perhaps even just in a climate that isn’t quite so blazingly hot.
