Just a note that the outer "paint" and even the material itself has begun to disintegrate into my spa. It sends floating black granules into water when rubbed against and the screws don't hold pillow tight anymore. Spa is two years old and I'm replacing pillows. Seems like a materials flaw that should be addressed.

I have replaced these pillows 4 times already and doesn't seem to hold up to the common conditions of a hot tub with open or closed cover. I have made sure that the pillow was never submerged in water so the de-lamination of the outer surface must be from chlorine or other chemical gasses. This becomes annoying when you spend a lot of time manually hand skimming the water from LPM (loose particulate matter) black material. I would think Master Spa would invent a pillow with longer longevity but the replacement parts are their bread and butter so...?
