My review is not about Bookmarks itself, for it is a gift I have been giving to my sister, a librarian. Each year I ask her if she would like to continue receiving it, and I always get a yes. After she has read it, she passes it on to several friends who also appreciate it. I would say it is a gift that keeps on giving.

Love the magazine! Gives reasoned reviews for all genres of literature. I like to read a wide variety of material: history, science fiction, classical, detective and non-fiction general so this magazine fits the bill. I used to subscribe but, years ago for some reason, I thought they had closed shop. Really happy they're still doing a great job.

For many years I have enjoyed and anticipated the arrival of every issue. I find many titles through the feature about a Book Group and the Year in Books. The articles featuring authors is very interesting.

If you love to read, Bookmarks is a great by-monthly magazine for you! Besides suggesting books of which you may not have heard, Bookmarks spotlights authors, gets you ready for the newest books not quite on the shelf, and highlights bookclub groups who tell their story. I especially like the section that divides books into genre, rates them with a 0-5 point scale, and gives a brief summary.

Have enjoyed magazine for many years now. The only suggestion I have is that you explore some new columns. A column on old classics might be good.

So many good books--So little time! Bookmarks gives such good reviews on both new and old books. I'll never be able to read all the books I add to my list.

If you want to know what you should read next bookmarks is the best current guide for interesting books to read. All of the popular new books are rated and many of the older books Are reviewed also

I look forward to getting my Bookmarks magazine. I savor reading each book review and making/revising my must read books. I appreciate the different opinions and not just the view of one reviewer. I also like review of old books, nothing is off limit in Bookmarks. I love to hold books, smell books and own books. Bookmarks magazine is guide for book lovers!
