I have had Mac computers since 1987 without regret. I am not a "Geek" but a "Squeak." That is, I have only used Macs for basic programs, like word processing, email communication and recently banking. Therefore I have not gotten involved in more intense technology. I only tried MacKeeper for the last year or two. Since a new year requires an update and my laptop has gotten slower, I sought for a program that would assure increased help and speed.
I did receive personal guidance from the MK counselors and a technician spent an hour cleaning and upgrading my laptop. A log of crashes was cleared as well as the causes; the antivirus program found no issues. There is somewhat greater speed now and there seems to be less trouble with conflicting issues. I do believe the persons who helped me were qualified, patient and dedicated. The only negative is some difficulty understanding the information, making me ask them to repeat some of that information. It will take some time to determine if the new MacKeeper update I subscribed to was a good value.
