Glenn - We're a bit confused. :-) This model has been part of our Premium Leather Collection since it was introduced in 2008. We have updated and improved it with input from long term customers such as yourself. Visually, it's nearly identical to the 2008 launch model. Vintage is way more sturdy & I prefer the feel & color of this messenger bundle. Price is a bit astronomical, especially while n this pandemic & It took too long for the exchange but I’m finally satisfied w/my bag. Thanks.

Thank you for your review. While we realize price is relative, you describe
the cost of the product as “astronomical”. Our question would be, relative to what?
If you are comparing our Premium Leather MacBook Pro Messenger Bag to the disposable, Chinese, “genuine PVC leather” bags hawked on so many sites across the internet, then yes, our price is higher.

For good reason. 

While you’d be lucky to get a year out of one of those before it falls apart, we have customers who are still using pieces we shipped them in 2008 and 2009. To have a bag that costs a few hundred dollars and lasts over a decade speaks to the true value that MacCase products represent. When compared to designer fashion bags that have 5% of the functionality yet cost thousands of dollars more, our Premium Leather MacBook Pro Messenger Bag and the included matching sleeve are an absolute bargain.

Great bag and case of high quality that I am sure will last a very long time. I travel with these and am kind of hard on them and they are holding up perfectly. Beautiful color, lots of pockets. Can hold a lot of items. Highly recommend these!

It's been nearly six months since I purchased my Premium Leather Messenger Bag/Sleeve Bundle and all I can say is that I definitely made the right choice. My original requirements included the need for a bag that was attractive, professional in appearance and yet durable enough to withstand the rigors of a real estate broker who is constantly "on the go". After doing extensive research for a new case I was very disappointed with the current offerings in the marketplace....that was at least until I came across the Mac Case! The leather is very high quality, the design is exactly to my liking and the construction is far superior to the few others that I was even considering. Also, I was fortunate enough to receive the latest design with the new "quick grab handle" which is definitely a must have since I am often retrieving my messenger bag with the use of this "quick grab" as I constantly move in and out of my vehicle. Lastly, it would not be fair to not also offer a separate comment on the Sleeve that I also purchased for my MacBook. I've owned two others in the past and the Mac Case Sleeve is by far the best offering superior protection, functionality and major style points. Thanks Mac Case...you've earned a customer for life!

I've loved both the backpack and shoulder bag and I've received more positive comments about the leather used and the iPad sleeve than any other bag I own. Love their products.

My husband uses his vintage MacCase every day, and carries a lot in it in addition to his MacBook. The MacCase is eight years old and looks better every year. We live in South Florida, which means high temperatures and very high humidity, and the bag has held up remarkably well. Just recently the foam on the shoulder pad has begun to wear. Fortunately, we can replace the pad and he gets to keep his bag. It's a testament to the construction and materials used by MacCase that the bag has held up this well over so long a period. In addition, the customer service is the best!
