I like my Mac Book Pro Sleeve. It does a great job when it is used with a backpack or messenger bag. However, as a standalone sleeve, be careful! If picked up from the bottom, the Mac Book will slide out. I have had it slide from the sleeve when removing them from my backpack. Make sure the opening is up, or you could have a damaged Mac.

Thanks for the feedback. A sleeve was the second MacCase we ever created way back in 1998. All models up to this one had some sort of closure, usually a velcro flap (and never a zipper). Customers were asking for a sleeve design that would make it easier to get the laptop out in the security lines at the airport. Removing the closure flap did this. It allowed for a one-handed removal of the laptop from the sleeve in whatever bag you were carrying it in. With less people traveling, we may revisit adding a closure back to our sleeve design.

The case is productive. Wish it had a velcro closure like the ones sold for the Apple G4 laptops.

Odalys - We debated for a long time about whether to include a closure or not on this generation sleeve. The feedback we received from customers was that they wanted a sleeve that they could remove their laptop or tablet out of with one hand when on line at airport security. This facilitated not having a closure. Also, they wanted a sleeve that was as light (yet protective) as possible. Thanks for your feedback.

The website is easy to navigate and purchase. I miss the velcro lip cover, that closed the case up. The open space can let the Mac fall out.

The item was a sleeve, but it didn't cover both sides, which I thought it did, so I returned it. I'm thinking of buying the one with both sides covered, but I've been using my MacBook without a case and am pretty content with it being this way. Your customer service team was very nice and pleasant. I understand you supply the secret service with products, I'd keep promoting that because you guys do have nice material and quality in your products.

This is the BEST sleeve you will ever buy for your MacBook Pro or any laptop! I bought my first one back in 2008 for my 17" MacBook Pro with the MacCase backpack Combo. I still use it today and it's still as perfect as the day I bought it even though it's 8 years old. I ordered a new sleeve today for my brand new 13" MacBook Pro. I just love the extra layer of protection this great sleeve provides. I love everything about it- the velcro closure, the vent, plus you have to love that Apple "window"! They really thought of everything! It's beautiful, and durable, as well as functional and it's the only sleeve I will ever buy for my MacBook Pro's! Yes, it's THAT GOOD!!!
