I’ve been looking for a nice zero waste laundry soap option. These seem to work really well for clothes and I’m interested to explore their other uses. However, I was disappointed when then they arrived in plastic packaging so I may source from somewhere else moving forward.

I've been looking for a simple, natural and zero waste soap option for a while now. I was excited when I learned about soap nut and their many uses. When I looked on your site I was under the impression that the soap would be zero waste and ship just in the cloth bag shown, so I was disappointed when it arrived wrapped in plastic. Plus the mailer was plastic, two pieces of waste I was hoping to avoid. I will likely try to source from somewhere else.

Not sure I’m confident they get my laundry clean. We have hard water but use a water softener too. My husband’s laundry is usually extremely dirty as he works outside so I continue to use detergent and only the soap nuts in loads like sheets or lighter soiled garments.
