There was pieces of hard plastic and pieces of string (attached to the head) along with the hair. Recommend going through the hair and pulling them out before use. The hair at the bottom is incredibly thin. You can’t even pull off a full braid with it. This is my first hair mannequin purchase so not sure if this would be considered worth the money or not.
