The transaction was very smooth. I sent in a Samsung phone that was essentially brand new, and got top dollar for it, over 400$ with no markdowns. Better than any other quote I could find. I selected BuyBack Engineer because it was offering the highest price for my iPhone. They ultimately paid the offer, but it took multiple emails and a week to get paid rather than the one day advertised on the website. They explained the delay was because of the volume of trade-ins after the iPhone 13 released (which makes sense) and offered an extra 5% as an accommodation, but they did not pay the extra 5%.
