The Trio Plus seems to be taking care of our air very well in the short time we've had it. We live in a dusty environment and also moist at certain times of the year. It has knocked down the dust and also musty smells that come with the moist environment. We like that this unit not only captures offensive particles and airborne "critters" but provides a final kill factor utilizing the UV. Helps it stand out from HEPA-only units. It's quiet as well except for the faster fan speeds - but its not an obnoxious sound. Thank you for that. Blessings
