Gokart arrived late and the cardboard case was largely destroyed but truck driver took his time to carefully inspect the shipment with me. There was no damage. Yay!!!! Grandson LOVES IT and has been singing songs about his gokart. He's is having a blast. It's a great opportunity to talk meaningfully about safety, a conversation that needs to be repeated with all drivers and riders. The DVD included was not nearly as helpful as the familygokart.com instructional video. That made all the difference in the set up I'd like to ride it but likely would need help to get out. It's groovy cool!

Arrived with box damage and one chew mark on the plastic. According to the web site these are not covered. Had watched assembly video and disc accompanying ATV. Slight variances in techniques but remain flexible and assembly goes well. Changed oil first thing and then started unit. Started right away. Made adjustments to throttle limiter from child setting and unit is really fun to operate. Rear rack required adjustment and has some loose material inside which is vibrating. Slight noise which I think is cam chain. Overall very happy.

Spoke with two people in sales. I took longer than they said to receive unit. Received two separate E-Mails indicating the unit was shipped on different dates. Basically it just a waiting game for the shipper to contact you. That is how you'll know when it's going to arrive.

This company is unprofessional. After they removed the large amount of money from my account, sent me a receipt of payment, they still wouldn't ship.until I sent them the copy of my electronic check front and back to show we paid for it. After that mess was taken care of was advised the color we wanted was out of stock and I would have choose another or wait two weeks. We changed the color. Now that we have received the kart we find that the helmets shipped separately and have no information on these. I have no order number or shipping information. I don't recommend this company based on their customer service that I received from one of the owners. He did nothing to help or to make any of this right. When I asked him to call me he ignored my request. The go kart is great and my kids love it. However, when they outgrow it and it's time to upgrade, we will go somewhere else to get our next one.

Great Go Kart. Make sure you have someone who knows engines, building and tools otherwise you will never get it built. Can’t adjust seatbelts to tighten down.

My 3 year old son LOVES this thing. The only knock I have on the product is the life of the battery. He would literally run this ATV all day if the batteries lasted. Still get about 90 minutes of constant run life on a charge but not enough when you have an arnry 3 year old. Waiting another 6-8 hrs for it to charge again is unacceptable to him. It appears to me there's enough room between the plate the battery pack sits on and the seat where you could get a small car battery in there. I would pay more for a unit ran a few hours longer. Also the foot pedal needs to be depressed at the same time the hand throttle is used. My 4 1/2 year old daughter even has problems with this. Today was the third day it was running and I've started to hear a knock or a tap as it's running. Haven't found what this is yet. So far a good product. Might have opted for a slightly larger/slightly more expensive gas unit so my guy could run it all day.

Family go carts was great to deal with. They even called to ensure they were sending to the proper place. The product is Chinese so we'll see how it lasts.

So far so good. Very difficult to start at the beginning. Had issues with fuel line but I was able to correct this. It is very fast, you may need to slow it down until your child gets use to it. Outside shipping container was literally destroyed, cardboard box was caved in or missing. Fuel tank has a good size dent, waiting to see if I get a new one from the dealer.

Customer service is fine. Tech support is helpful. But, being far away is a tough obstacle to overcome. Had a buddy come over and help get it started. Took about 1 hr. That is not assembly, but rather getting it started. Had an issue with the fuel line and gas getting to the right spot. Had to change sparkplug and fuel filter, which was supplied. Setup was easy.
