Everything about this long pole is excellent. Definitely worth the price. This pole is an excellent value and should last your entire life. If you're sitting on the fence...just buy it. You won't be disappointed!

I was expecting a lot out of this pole and it almost measures up. I'm comparing this pole to my Sifu's which he brought from Hong Kong and is made of Qwan Din wood. I've also used oak and teak poles. The pole I received isn't perfectly straight. There is a slight bend to one side near the last 2 feet of the pole. The wood isn't sanded as smooth as my Sifu's pole, and the ends aren't rounded. Instead, they're cut square. Overall it's a good pole, but for the price I would have liked the pole to be perfectly straight and the fit and finish to be higher quality. - 1 star. [Admin Response: Kevin - please send us a picture of the pole so we can see the bend in it. We do our best to store the poles perfectly straight, but wood is wood and it sometimes warps, especially if it is not removed from the shipping tube and stored correctly upon arrival.]

Recieved two poles, packaged in a reinforced shipping tube. The poles themselves were individualy covered with foam wrap. Examination of the poles were as follows. Both were inch and a quarter tip diameter, inch and five eights handle diameter, exactly 107 inches long, and perfectly straight. Some surface irregularities but very consistant dimentionaly and in finish work. Has a very good soild feel with a nice weight. One pole broke during initial checking due to a bad spot in the wood. Second pole was checked very throughly with no problems. A little disgruntled about my new toy breaking first time out, but what makes the difference is how this was handled. Aaron in customer service had a new pole in the mail next day. Conclusions, I would not hesitate to purchase this product again. It is a quality product that the manufacture believes in.

That?s maybe the best poles every received, nice and straight with a good weight and a good hand grip. The length is perfect too, so definitely a great product to recommend.
