When I received this item the pull-up device that screws on to the top of the sprinkler was broken. It seems to have been split when it was screwed on to the sprinkler. I have a question about the Hunter - PROS-04 - 4" Pro-Spray Pop-Up Sprinkler, does it accept the Hunter-MP100090 sprinkler head? It seems very hard to turn when I tried to put a MP100090 on it. Your response would be appreciated.

Good morning Mr. Tom,
Yes, the MP nozzle will fit onto the Pros-04. The piece you are talking about is the flush nozzle. People will install the spray head with that flush nozzle in case they get any dirt in the line when changing out the head. You can then run the system for a minute with that flush nozzle on to clean out any dirt that may have fallen down in the line.Â
Then you simply pull up the pop-up using that tab on the flush nozzle and just unscrew that from the pop-up. Then you will be able to screw on the MP nozzle.

Does the Hunter Mp100090 install onto the Hunter Pros-04-04" Pro-spray sprinkler body. When I received the order the pull-up for the sprinkler was broken. I tried to install an MP-100090 and it didn't want to accept this sprinkler head. An answer to this question would be appreciated. Tom

So far so good, quick and easy. Really great prices on the parts I needed. What really stood out is that you could download the manufactures data on the parts and compare them. This helped with our yard as the irrigation company that put in the system for the builder went the cheapest way with the minimum number of spray heads without hardly any overlap. I was able to use the engineering data to determine what was needed and correct the installation and the lawn plantings perked up tremendously. I will definitely use again.
