The Binder appears well made. According to the text is expandable to accommodate from 44 to 62 inches in length waists. I had surgery for an incision hernia and was issued a binder to wear continuously for six weeks. I ordered this one for backup to launder. I measured a 54 inch waist. This binder measured only 40 inches and was almost a foot shorter than one issued by the surgeon. It will not expand enough to be usable on my abdomen. I have to return it.

I had surgery for an abdominal laparotomy incision hernia and was issued a similar abdominal binder to wear continuously for six weeks. I ordered abdominal 3 and 4 panel binders from Cascade for backup to launder the original. I measured a 54 inch waist. The Binder appears well made. According to the text in the advertisement this binder was expandable to accommodate from 44 to 62 inches in length waists. This binder measured only 40 inches and was almost a foot shorter than the one issued by the surgeon. It will not expand enough to be usable on my abdomen. I explained why I have to return it. I explained that I had taken it out of the box only to measure it and was told that I could have a re-stocking fee. The customer service guy said it would expand to the right size. I was told that I would need an RA number to return the item and they would take care of it but I have not received anything back from them yet.

I didn’t receive the item that I ordered. And the didn’t have the product I ordered. So they quickly offered to give me a full refund. Sorry that this didn’t work out for cascade or myself. But happy with the outcome.

The bench is narrower than expected and the padding is ultra firm with very little give/cushion. It is much sturdier feeling than our previous Drive padded transfer bench, which is reasonable considering it was twice the cost. Overall, rather underwhelmed. I very much like the seller though, Cascade Medical is super easy to work with.

Belt is very high quality material and stitched exceptionally well. Very prompt delivery. The video of use showed the sliding portion of the belt passing through a tube of fabric that rests against the patients body. The belt now has one panel of fabric that rests against the body so that the sliding portion has contact with the furniture the patient is sitting or resting on, making more friction at the start of use until the furniture side of the sliding portion is 'airborne'. Would rate 5 stars if the sliding portion of the belt was inside a fabric tube so no friction against body or furniture when starting to use the transfer raising belt.
