Tracker has too many lapses in reporting location. Started out fine for the first week or so, then gradually outages in reporting location. Outages that started out lasting 5 minutes and got progressively worse. The last outage just occured and so far is in excess of an hour. It is in a major metropolitan area with excellent cell phone coverage and placed on the vehicle properly. These outages just won't do for my needs. Also the extended battery is close to half discharged after only 23 days which is disappointing. I used another service a year ago or so and had none of these issues.

I love this tracker! I am not good with technology but even I set it up and put it on my daughter’s car by myself. It even told me when she was speeding, naughty new driver! Now I will know where she is at all times! Everyone should get one for their teenage drivers or for a suspicious acting husbam, ha ha!

This thing is so cute and solid, and it just works. I can track stuff just like in the movies, tho I mostly just use it when my daughter goes camping. Easily lasts a weekend or even longer for that. She just keeps it in her backpack. Love this peace of mind.

The nano is great, but the magnetic case makes it so much more versatile. I used it for my car, but then also was able to switch it to my boat when I rented my boat. most people don't do that probably, but I think it could track anything with metal to attach it to.

The marketing material makes it look like you can put it anywhere on a vehicle. Apparently not under the hood or near the trunk.In my case, a golf cart. No way to check to see if it works without buying a monthly plan starting at $24.99/month (not $25.00 lol). Also the magnetic case isn't included.

Received 3 nano 7 in the past 2 weeks and all of them have issues with the battery draining... I keep sending them back fo replacement and receive another one with the same issues... charge them at 100% and put it vehicle after 12hours of vehicle not moving it drops to 80% by end of day now down to less than 50%... all three units same result also had tracking time changed to 10 minutes and same result.... poor quality.....

I have now bought 3 within weeks of each other due to losing the first one, and the second one not holding battery. Now, the third one also is not holding battery. It goes from 100% to 5% in a day. Although the first device lasted weeks without charging.

The product works great, although some issues may arise. One problem I’ve had is that it doesn’t always properly indicate vehicle location, especially when parked, a problem that may be more related to lack of cell towers. Also, the battery seems to drain more in certain locations than others. Once again, an issue probably related to the devices constant attempt to connect to a cell tower. Also, the devices slow rate of charge is kind of sad. 5 hours plus.

The website advertises this product as 3"x1"x.4". In reality, it is much larger than that, and actually is LARGER than the previous Nanos. This is highly misleading and was the primary reason I bought 3 of them.

I have version 7.0. One would think that the browser based user experience (UX) would be at a much higher level and EVERY option clicked would actually work without producing an error. The street view doesn't work. The zoom level on the platforms Google map prohibits 15 zoom levels (you can only zoom to a 1-mile viewport on a standard 1080p monitor). The UX is simply awful. Completely non-intuitive. Don’t get me started on the Android mobile app. It’s HORRIBLE! I used the web app 8 years ago. It's nearly the same. It sucked then and it sucks now. Tech support takes 3 times to answer basic questions. With the longevity that this company has, it must be broke to not be able to afford better software and better service. Hey CEO, raise your prices so you can hire better software developers and provide better service! We don’t want cheap, we want solid, good software and good support. The hardware seems good enough, that I’d pay nearly double for it in order to have better software, but the most import thing to solve is the crappy zoom level limits on your Google map.

This product I’ve replaced 5 times with the same results. Charges within 1.5 hrs. Discharged quickly also. Give multiple false readings. Gaps in tracking. Doesn’t take online app orders to include web site updates. Garbage

I have to retrieve the device every 2-3 days and recharge it. This is time out of the vehicle for charging so you're not tracking and the increase chance of having your son catch you going into the car to stash it. The product says " The Spark Nano's fully rechargeable battery can run for up to two weeks or more under normal use (~1 hour a day)" But there's no way I could come close to that and I'm "On demand" tracking" The device is not getting pinged every 2 min; maybe 25 requests a day. I was sent a new device but still have the same problem. It's not my job to troubleshoot their products but it is now my problem. It seems when the vehicle is in the garage and has no reception, it blows through the battery. Maybe it just doesn't know to go to sleep without a connection; I'm not sure but I'm unhappy with this.

The system is set up so that at any given time at least four satellites are within the view of any point on the planet. Usually, there will be more. The simple answer is that the more satellites your tracker can “see,” the more accurate its position will be. As the number of satellites in view changes, so will your tracker’s accuracy.
