I missed the "mil spec receivers only" part, the only truly mil spec receiver I have has a red dot that would have to be moved (and re-adjusted to zero) in order to try the Brass Goat. It's a good concept but not sure I can even use it on one rifle.

Company & website are OK but the "milspec receivers only" advice should be more apparent, I never saw it until I opened the box. I can't use the Brass Goat on any but one AR, and have to move a red dot sight to find out about that one. So far this catcher is useless to me.

I think you're product is an excellent one. My only suggestion would be that you skip the unit in a discreet or wrapped box. I was not happy that anybody, whether the shipping company nor neighbors could see what is in the box, especially being firearms related. Hope you take this comment seriously. I've had my Brass Goat for a little over 2 years, got one after my first extended class and getting tired of spending time brass scrounging or just throwing brass away when lazy. The Brass Goat mounts nicely, the hopper basically disappears since it's no bulkier than a magazine. I've never had the brass stack up oddly and it's always fit 30 every time I ran 30 rds. If shooting prone, or from a bench, just leave the hopper off. Your brass will drop right below the Goat's chute. No brass chasing, ever. The Brass Goat has fit these lower/upper combos and worked fine each time: Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced upper & lower. Aero Precision standard AR lower + BCM upper. Aero Precision standard lower + Aero Precision standard AR upper. Mega/Expo lower + all of the uppers mentioned earlier. Doesn't matter whether it's basic milspec like Aero's standard upper/lower, or something that has slightly different machining patterns like Aero's M4E1 Enhanced upper/lower. Weighs nothing. Some folks say, "use your ball cap draped over your scope's elevation turret." Well a ball cap these days, depending on where you shop, can cost as much as the Brass Goat. How can you not own one of these if you shoot often?

I find the Brass Goat to be an excellent product for a reasonable price. My friend bought one and I immediately ordered one after. It's well made and simple to use. I like the see through model so you can see how much brass is inside.

Easy and fast. Honestly, I'd prefer that the bus was wrapped. It arrives in it's own box and is marked on the outside. I prefer the delivery people and my neighbors not be able to see what I order, especially firearms related.

With the prices of reloading components we as reloaders need to reload our brass as many times as possible. This makes my life easier as well as saving me money in the long run on brass

What else is there to say? I'm reloader, so any gizmo that catches brass has my interest. I use a no name brand mesh bag and Picatinny Rail Mount on my AR-9s. Those are a little fussy to take on and off to dump brass. The Brass Goat WORKS and its easy! My first use of the BG was to mag-dumped 30 rounds to prove the product solidify my purchase. Not only was it fun to shoot, but it was an even better experience to just dump my brass into a bag. No fuss, no having to lay the rifle down and fiddle with a bag while brass falls out. Ok, you read the review...now go buy it!
