Thanks for your business.  We're glad you're happy with product.  We're sorry you're not pleased with the service.  In our 30 years of experience of installing these lighting systems on all kinds of vehicles operating in all kinds of environments it's unusual for a brand new LED controller not to work out of the box. Yes, it happens but in most cases there is almost always some external event that caused the failure -- usually environmental related to power and/or improper installation the first time. Truth is, most folks don't read the installation instructions.  They make assumptions about how the system works.  Electricity however is unforgiving.  It only takes a split second for an improperly wired system to be damaged beyond repair. We see it all the time.          

We offer a 3 year warranty on most all RV light kits and controllers against manufacturing defects. In situations where the system isn't working we work with the customer remotely to isolate and identify the issue. We don't however randomly throw parts at a problem. In situations where we can't identify the problem or the customer isn't willing or able to perform the trouble shooting steps as requested, we ask the customer to return the controller to us for testing. This process takes about a week. If the customer can't wait that week or so for the testing process to play out, the customer is always welcome to purchase a new controller. If the returned controller is indeed found to be defective, we will refund the cost of that new controller to the customer but only after we are able to examine the controller and have time to evaluate the circuitry at the component level.    Of course the customer has to be willing to return the controller for this to happen.    

It is important to note that in the over-whelming percentage of cases where the customer does return the controller, the components returned for testing are found to either a) work properly or b) have been subjected to environmental forces well beyond their capability. Only in a small percentage of cases can the failure be traced back to a component failure. Yes, it happens but it's very rare.

Boogey Lights has been around since 1989. Our warranty is the best in the business. Not only in the LED lighting sector but in the RV industry as a whole. Our warranty evaluation and testing process is as good as or better than most any manufacturer servicing the RV sector. We're sorry you're not pleased with our service but we believe our warranty evaluation process has stood the test of time. It's fair and it's reasonable. In our experience those who aren't willing to allow the testing process to play out are almost always not being truthful about the circumstances surrounding the failure of the component. Not saying that's the case here but merely sharing our experience with literally hundreds of thousands of customers in the past 30 years.
