I passed the first try! i was so happy, i also used the flagg study book! but all the variety of questions on this app really helped me prepare! i liked that i could pick certain topics and levels of difficulty of the question! would defiantly recommended

I recently purchased a 3 month subscription followed by a 1 month subscription to help me prepare for the ANCC exam for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners. Board Vitals came highly recommended to me from 2 PMHNPs who used it to study for their exams as well. I completed the entire 1600 question bank and found it highly useful in preparing for the exam and did pass the exam. The questions are similar to the questions I had on the ANCC exam and I felt ready to take the exam after using Board Vitals.

These questions were hard, but by doing a lot of them I learned so much! It made the certification test feel SO easy and I passed. I loved how I could do questions on my phone. Overall, this is a good method of CME. I have tried audio and video products for CME on the go, and have found they present obstacles: 1. Unless you are completely alone, the audio of those products can be intrusive to those around you. 2. Using earbuds can make you oblivious to your surroundings. Essentially, having a spouse in the car or aircraft precludes their use. BoardVitals, however, does not have these disadvantages, and I have been trained over the past 30 years to learn in the multiple choice format. So why not 5 stars? Just a couple of missing features: 1. No portable offline use - I recently took a long flight after purchasing the product, and I was very disappointed to find I could not use it on the plane without an internet connection! A very common use case that must be addressed. 2. This product needs an intelligent (AI) monitoring of your progress - It should track questions you got wrong, and make a list of subcategories you are weak in. After each quiz/test/block, a breakdown of the topics covered and how well you did by % can be presented and can be cumulative as you continue to use the app. You can be forced to come back to questions you missed in the past randomly to enforce the concept until it is proved you will always get it right the first time. This is how the AHA ACLS online training is now done, and it works very well.
