The software and the layout are excellent, which is why I gave it two stars. Unfortunately the content for infectious disease prep is just not complex enough to reflect the actual content on the exam. I took my exam yesterday and luckily I'd also bought the GW course, which is spot on. Board vitals ID questions are roughly half or a quarter as tricky as they need to be.

I have enjoyed using the boards vitals question bank in studying for the AP/CP pathology boards. The questions seem to be relevant to boards studying (although I haven't taken boards yet so I cannot say if they are accurate to the test). I really enjoy being able to download quizzes on the app, its super helpful for when I need to travel or have spotty internet coverage. I also really like the way the question explanations tell you both why the correct answer was right but also why the wrong answers were wrong. The images are usually good quality. I also find the performance statistics easy to navigate and understand. I think the only draw back is that I wish there were more questions and some virtual slides.

This platform helped me focus my studying and helped me stay on track. The only feedback I'd say is that the answer and explanations of some questions could be much better. Some offered no explanation as to why the answer was right. On the other hand some other questions gave amazing answers and references, reasons why the answer was right and why the incorrect answer were incorrect. Quite inconsistent.

Compared to other question banks, the boardVitals design is not a competitive version, this includes the font, the explanation of the incorrect answers, and the format. I recommend reviewing Qanks like UWorld, COMBANK, Mksap. Also the price.

Material is relatively reasonable. BV is the first question Bank was Not flexible with providing discounts or flexibility with the different extensions in time when I called twice. This is in comparison with UWorld, COMBANK, COmQuest, and ACP MKSAP.

Great variation of questions, although the ANCC board questions were not as intense as these, which is good because it prepared me for the worst. I loved reading the rationale behind all the answers and why it was the correct choice. I highly recommend board vitals, it was good price for a month as opposed to the other expensive review courses.
