Creating a business plan with LivePlan has actually been fun. It's like training wheels on a bike. The financials really opened up my entire business-think, as I am more the visionary type. Customer service is the best I have ever have in my life. They are there really to help me solve problems. Really impressive. The only down point is that I cannot edit Financial projections in a way I wanted. There are a few restrictions. For example, I could set the starting date but not the ending month so if I wanted to change the marketing budget from 10% of the overall budget to 8% after three years, I had to do it manually.

Overall experience with LivePlan is awesome. Very informative and easy to read. Plans also come with templates and other examples you can use to get a sense for how to build you plan. Additionally if you have partners or a team up to five can also build and edit the plan. You can also leave comments about edits. If you have an advisors working with you you can add them as a guest and they can also give you feedback. I like that the financial forecast is separate and you can go into great detail when forecasting. The industry comparison allow you to see how you stack up against competition and others businesses in similar industries. Lastly once done with one business plan you can archive and save the information to work on another business plan. So if you are an entrepreneur like me and Often have great ideas you'd like to explore with a business plan, this is a great component.
