LivePlan really made me think through my business plan. I've been thinking about beginning a business venture and working through a realistic timeline for opening. Since becoming a LivePlan customer, I realized how intentional I need to be in the planning period to make sure that I'm successful. Thanks LivePlan for slowing me down so that I have a good plan and product!

Liveplan was great and easy to use. The setup makes you think a lot about what you need and not need in a good business plan.
A bit of a shame I could not continue with the project I was working with as other things got in the way.
Will definitely use again at the right time.

Using Live Plan to build my business plan made the whole process incredibly easier. Getting a clear picture of my profit and losses helped me determine how feasible my new business was going to be.

For my start-up, LivePlan overall offered an excellent framework from which to construct a credible Business Plan. Many of the options presented within the framework were relevant to my situation. In a few cases, I had to redefine preferred terms and adjust preferred meanings to conform with the limitations of the software.
In particular, I felt that LivePlan had insufficient flexibility for me to construct a detailed and robust Cash Flow Projection. After several attempts using the "canned" framework failed, I ultimately had to construct Cash Flow Projections outside of Live Plan. Customer service confirmed the limitations of the software that I was bumping up against. So I moved forward on my own. Doing so gave my plan somewhat of a "cobbled" appearance-less professional than I would have preferred.
Overall, however, I was very satisfied with this software. I especially loved the simplicity, elegance and beauty of the charts and diagrams.

Loved the software. Made it so easy to create and look professional. I've started other businesses over 29 years but never gone after funding, so I was a fish out of water with what to write and how to present the plan. This simplified it and made it look so great. We got funded, and the legitimacy of our plan was part of that (long established trust with the investors was the other part.
I kept paying the monthly fee as long as I needed to tweak it until I had all the investors on board. Then I no longer needed it and was reminded I should cancel when the next charge came through.
The additional features of tracking my progress were not needed

This software is great for start ups and businesses that are looking to create detailed business plans and projections. I came to LivePlan with my idea for a business and lots of unorganized numbers and projections. LivePlan helped me put together a professional business plan with projections and financials statements which produced an end product I was proud to present to the bank for a small business loan.

I felt what LivePlan offered was exactly what we needed to get started on writing a business plan. It has been the most helpful of all the options I have tried in the past. Unfortunately, we never locked into a final direction for a business to pursue. The business plans are broken down into doable chunks and led us to have to answer a lot of questions, most we would not have thought to ask. What LivePlan did do was help us dig far enough into an idea (or three) to a point where we realized it was not something we wanted to pursue. That is actually a good thing and saved us a lot of money and hassle. If we come up with another "great" idea, we'll be back.

This software puts everything in one place. It's easy to lose your thoughts about something important, and live plan makes you sit there and fill out all sections of a business model. By paying for a service that actually makes you write down your thoughts, you will do yourself a huge service.
To liveplan- thank you for the great software. You might be able to charge more in the future if you gave the user a full customization package on the business plan and pitch sheet. Either way, it was great using your software.

I was very impressed with the software. I was able to successfully formulate a very professional business plan that I felt still reflected me (it didn't feel "stock"). It was easy to use, the examples were helpful, and I was very impressed with all of the features. I will definitely use again in the future.

For a few months, I struggled writing my business plan. I was finding some resources on the web, but it was really hit or miss. In March 2016, I found LivePlan.com. Everything I needed was available right away with LivePlan. In truth, it took me about a month and a half to write my business plan, after sign up. Two weeks after submitting my plan, my investors accepted it. I'm pumped to be starting my company in July 2016. Thank you LivePlan. I couldn't have done it without you.
