Another skill to be developed

First time I have tried to sharpen a router bit. A little trickier than the explanation. Holding the bit is the first issue, then stroking the cutting edge is the second challenge. Keeping square, counting the strokes, and still seeing the burn marks caused me to do more than a few strokes. Probably should have sent the worst bit to a professional.

Have enjoyed your products, up until my last purchase. The 90 degree miter joint router bits are not up to your standards. The video on line shows them being used with 3/4 inch plywood, and yes, they work fine using 3/4 in stock. I purchased them for a project using 'so called' 1/2 inch plywood. Try as I might I could not make them work. I routed at least 25 samples using the plywood I had purchased and I am convinced it can not be done. I would love to see a video showing 1/2 plywood being used. I milled a piece of pine to 1/2 inch and they worked great but my plywood is closer to 3/8 than 1/2 inch.
