I am using their unmanaged VPS. I have tried many VPS hosts over the years and site5 is by far the best. My server is always up, very little downtime (all downtime I have experienced has been due to system maintenance and I was warned). We are talking downtime of just a few minutes over the whole year.

And their customer service response is phenomenal. I usually get a response to a submitted ticket within 10 minutes of submission. Way better than anywhere else.

Servers are quite fast and reliable for the price.

The customer service is the best part though -- actual people you can talk to that can understand English is what counts. I would recommend Site5. I have used several hosts in my time and this is the best one for the price if you are looking to host a number of standard web pages. If you want to host an e-Commerce platform then you may want to consider a dedicated server for the speed.

They have a variety of contact mechanisms (email, chat) depending on the severity of the issue. The response is quick and thorough. They provide proof of the correct resolution in the ticket history.

As a primary point of contact for tech and IT at True North Records, I have to wear a lot of hats. Site5 and their knowledge base complement the know-how I've already got to keep our sites up and running smoothly; I make frequent use of their online chat to communicate with tech support reps and find them to be courteous and quick to respond, and the experience only gets better the longer you work and form a bond with them.

Very good experience. While uptime may not reach 100%, which seems to be the norm, the customer service is the best I ever experienced with any service provider, instant chat, always available, problem solved within minutes, in a professional manner too.
Seems support team is very organised, well trained (if one can't handle the complicity of the problem they instantly pass one on to a professional who can) and they are really motivated to optimise customer experience. Makes me assume they earn commission according feedback ;-)
But who cares!
Surely 100% recommend.
