Since 2012, Island Deodorant has been making organic deodorant with probiotics that really work! We were living in the hot & humid Florida Keys, and the deodorants from the health food store did not work at all, so we came up with our own. We tested it on friends who raved about it and told us we must sell it online – so we did!

The Sensitive Deodorant with Probiotics is effective and gentle on my sensitive skin. I appreciate that there is no baking soda or fragrance, it is effective and long lasting, and I really like being able to order the "refill" and store it in my own airtight container. I have been using this since 2020 and have never been so satisfied with my deodorant. Another benefit is thag I only need to reorder about twice a year - and when you order on your birthday, you get an extra 100 points to put towards future savings. A solid low waste and ethical brand, and stellar products.

Love the deodorant and other products. It's pricey but worth it IMO. The products all work great and are made with real ingredients. Also love the rewards program. Just wish the insurance wasn't auto-selected.

This is good but messy at first. Luckily I had a few nalgene jars to put it in. Now I love the idea of it and will probably order this version exclusively going forward.

I had ordered a 4-pack to split with my daughter. Had an issue with my first stick in that the tube was defective & wouldn't roll up. Island promptly refunded me for the defective tube. Looking forward to ordering more with summer right around the corner. Great customer service

This product is amazing. No more smelly pits when playing tennis or heavy workouts. Good by Secret as my back-up since I couldn’t find a good natural deodorant to do the job. Island Deodorant checks all the right boxes!

Shopping experience and customer service is great. Not as creamy as I would like. Hard, sticks, and clumps with hairy pits. Otherwise, it works well and does the job. Been using natural deodorant for a long time. Can be a challenging product to produce.

This cream takes a few minutes to absorb, but as it's not an emulsified product that is to be expected. It leaves my skin soft and silky with no heavy perfumes! I don't have to worry about my lotion/cream competing or mixing with my natural perfume.

This deodorant works really well for me. I have been using natural deodorants for almost a decade and I have definitely found some duds out there, this is NOT one of them! I am a dog walker in Florida and this deodorant hasn't failed me yet.

I sweat . . . a lot. Regular deodorants were not cutting it for me: I was still sweating and smelling, no matter how many times I would reapply throughout the day. I heard that this may indicate a problem with my sweat "biome". I was skeptical . . . but I figured it couldn't hurt to try a probiotic deodorant. And it WORKED. I honestly don't sweat nearly as much, nor does my sweat smell as bad anymore. The bar does take some getting used to (and it does need some time to soak into the skin before you get dressed), but I am a convert. I have found the routine that works best for me is to put it on after my shower, before bed, and let it soak in overnight. I still use (aluminum-free) spray in the morning before work to freshen up. One bar will last me multiple months with this use.

I love the free baking soda deodorant. Baking soda doesn’t irritate me, but I wanted to start trying these deodorants with the baking-soda free.
I bought the compostable stick version of it and it lasted several months. I am now trying the original formula, I’ll update when testing it.
