I am a DIY’er and was very excited to see if this product produced the result Atticfoil.com advertised. The installation was a little tricky at times but well worth the effort. I installed my attack foil during the fall. I live in Arkansas and have very mild winters and did not think I would get the cost/saving ratio I wanted. I am here to say I cannot wait to see the saving in the summer because this winter, I lowered my heating bill by an average of $20.00 during the short winter. I would recommend this product!!! |
I can't really comment as to the effectiveness of the product until summer really hits. I can say though that the foil is surprisingly sturdy. Several times I thought I was going to rip it during the install, but I never did. |

Attic foil has lived up to my expectations. I have installed it on the two by fours just below the roof deck. Since I had the ceiling down in the living room I was able to check the temperature with a infrared thermoneter. The difference was about 30 degress cooler on the open side. This was in the middle of the day when the sun was beating down. |
